On Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, PKP appeared alongside Deborah Willis at Shelf Life Books to give the community a taste of our short film "The Weather" (based on the short story from Deborah Willis' Vanishing and Other Stories). The evening included a read-through of the script (adapted by Debbie herself), a screening of the trailer, and a talk back with actresses Siobhan Cooney & Natalie Marshall, dramaturg Katherine Holm, art director and assistant director Elaine Yang, author and screenwriter Deborah Willis, and director Vanessa Wenzel (me!). It was a beautiful evening and we are so grateful for everyone that came out to support us and join in the discussion!
