The story had been reeling around in my head for years, but once I started writing, I wrote the whole thing in about 2 hours and couldn't look at it again. Producing this film was an incredibly terrifying process and probably a ridiculous choice for my first foray into directing. Walking onto set and seeing dozens of people waiting and ready to bring my crazy vision to the screen was the most vulnerable I have ever let myself be.
